Deepening Practice

30/60 Hour CPD Training for Yoga Teachers
YACEP Accredited

FORM! + RESET invite existing yoga facilitators and teachers to step into our innovative 250 Yoga Facilitator Training - to deepen their practice, expand their knowledge and sharpen their facilitation skills.

We have space for five teachers to join us for continued professional development, bankable for 30 or 60 Yoga Alliance (YACEP) accredited hours. These teachers will be able to join sessions with our incredible guest faculty and will have dedicated mentorship time as a cohort with Lead Facilitators and FORM! Co-founders Anna Hodgart and Annie Faichney to discuss their current facilitation practice and the areas in which they wish to develop.

This 30/60 hour programme includes insights into:

Trauma Informed Practice

Founder of Edinburgh Community Yoga and leading expert in Scotland on trauma-informed yoga in community and outreach contexts. This session explores neuroscience, the nervous system, power dynamics, guru culture, and abuse in yoga settings; social justice; the impact of adverse childhood experiences and marginalisation on brains and bodies; and how to support safer experiences in yoga classes and contexts.

Karma Yoga + The Teacher

A wide-ranging session introducing non-duality as philosophy and a view within the context of Indian culture and history. And from there exploring what ‘right action’ as a teacher might look like.

Yoga + Sound

A special session taking place at the Glasgow Library of Synthesised Sound (GLOSS). Founder of GLOSS and co-founder of FORM! Lewis Cook will lead a session that explores sound’s radical role in spiritual practice - and how practitioners and teachers might utilise sound for its transformative effects.

Body Positive and Accessible Yoga

At the heart of Gillian’s teachings is a desire to make yoga accessible to everyone regardless of gender, age, race, ability, body shape or size - to provide a space where all bodies are celebrated and respected and she is particularly interested in supporting those in bigger bodies those who struggle to find their way within mainstream yoga culture. In this session she will outline practical ways to realise this in classes.
