Yoga
Yoga sits at the heart of Reset.
Our practices move through different intentions:
Practice. Progress. Restore.
Practice
The everyday heart of it: breath, movement, and returning.
-
The open door. Each class is shaped entirely by the teacher holding the space; their experience, their energy, their way of guiding, so no two are alike.
Options are offered throughout, always. A grounded place to begin, and to return to.
Explore our teacher bios to find who resonates. -
Creative, rhythmic, alive. Breath and movement woven into sequences that change every time, shaped by the teacher and the room.
Āsana, prāṇāyāma, mantra and meditation, threaded into a practice that leaves you feeling both alive and restored.
Some yoga experience is helpful here.
Progress
For meeting your edge, and moving past it. Stronger, warmer, deliberate - and more fun than it sounds.
-
Vinyasa, met with curiosity. Flowing sequences carried by a somatic thread; moving slowly enough to feel, not only to perform. Less about the shape, more about what the shape reveals.
A thoughtful, inward practice for those who like to explore movement from the inside out. Some experience recommended.
-
Powerful movement, mindful breath. A dynamic, strength-led practice rooted in Ashtanga and Vinyasa, building heat, stamina, and a deep connection between body and mind.
Flowing sequences, purposeful transitions, a warm room, high energy.
Options are always there, honour the day you're having, but come ready to move, to breathe deeply, and to surprise yourself.
Some yoga experience recommended. -
Pacy, dynamic, and a little playful. A set framework of postures, the same sequence each time, so progress becomes something you can feel, building heat before finding stillness in the most demanding shapes.
This is your way into inversions and arm balances: the first crow, the first headstand, with the freedom to challenge or rest throughout. Ashtanga's lineage loosened.
Some yoga experience recommended.
Restore
For slowing down. Where effort softens into ease, and the day loosens its grip.
-
A 60-minute wind-down, gentle from the first breath to the last. Soft, slow sequences and light holds: enough movement to release the day, never enough to raise a sweat.
No deep holds, no push: just the body softening and the mind catching up. The one to choose when you simply want to leave feeling better than you arrived.
All levels welcome. -
Ninety minutes in two distinct halves. The first warms you with a real, flowing practice (the yang), building just enough heat to open the body. The second drops into long-held Yin shapes, several minutes at a time, working deep into the connective tissue to release what the week has stored.
The fuller, more committed journey from effort to deep stillness.
All levels welcome.
-
Stillness, held. Floor-based postures are held for several minutes at a time: a quiet, deliberate stress on the connective tissue that opens the body from the inside.
Drawing on the meridian theory of Chinese medicine, Yin works slowly and asks for patience.
Please note: this class is not suitable during pregnancy. Beginners welcome.
Monthly Study
One theme, held across the month. Not a class to book, but a thread that runs through all of them — each teacher taking it up in their own way, on the mat and in how they guide. Some months it's a single āsana to build toward; others, an idea to sit with. Come to whatever you already love, and you'll find it woven through.
Meet Your Teachers
Our team is made up of highly experienced, thoughtful teachers who are deeply committed to the practice and to your experience on the mat. Alongside leading regular yoga classes, many of our teachers also deliver yoga teacher training, bringing depth, clarity, and considered guidance to every session.
Each teacher has their own style and perspective, but all share the same intention: to support you in moving with awareness, confidence, and ease. You’ll find familiar faces from the studio alongside new voices within the community. Learn more about what inspires them and why we knew they’d be the perfect fit for Reset below.

Yoga Glasgow FAQs
-
Yoga is an ancient practice of movement, breath, and awareness. Through postures (asana), breathwork (pranayama), and moments of stillness, it invites strength, mobility, focus, and a deeper connection to self.
Rooted in tradition and open to all, Yoga supports both body and mind -building resilience, clarity, and centered over time.
-
We recommend starting with beginner-friendly classes such as Yoga, Chill, and Yin. These Yoga classes will help you learn the basics and build confidence in your preferred yoga style. All our teachers welcome beginners, simply let them know upon entering the class. It’s best to avoid any intermediate classes and Vinyasa until you are ready.
-
No. Flexibility is a result of practising yoga, not a requirement. Yoga meets you where you are, and poses can always be modified to suit your body and ability.
-
Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely. Stretchy tops and leggings or loose trousers are ideal.
-
We have studio mats you can borrow free of charge, but you are welcome to bring your own mat if you prefer. We also provide all props, including blocks, straps, bolsters, blankets, and eye masks, for you to use in the studio.
-
This depends on your lifestyle and goals. Even one or two classes per week can be beneficial. Consistent practice, rather than intensity, is key.
-
Yoga can be gentle or physically challenging, depending on the style and class. Some forms build significant strength and stamina, while others focus more on relaxation and mobility.
-
In many cases, yes, but it is important to inform the teacher before class. Our teachers can suggest modifications or advise which classes are most appropriate. If unsure, consult a healthcare professional.
-
Most of our classes last between 60 and 75 minutes.
-
It is best to practise yoga on a light stomach. Try to avoid heavy meals for at least two to three hours before class. A small snack is fine if needed.
